Missing You

We've been apart a little while,

I wish I could return your smile.

In my heart I question why

there was no time to say good-bye.

Every day I start anew

with the pain of missing you.

I search my soul

to find a hole.

The emptiness I feel inside

I can no longer hide.

I go to sleep to dream

the only haven for me it seams.

I pray to God each passing day

that in his memory you will stay
